I have always been an artist since I was young. I loved painting and drawing and the joy that it brought me. When I was near the end of high school, I decided to go to art school, it only made sense being my passion. I didn’t really know where I was headed with it but gained some sense of direction in my Graphic Design courses. I began to love the challenge of learning something new all the time. I began to gain an understanding of the concepts throughout the courses that I took being typography, packaging design, branding and marketing, social media marketing and graphic design. My skills that I have taken with me past graduating include the understanding of package formatting, color theory, type hierarchy, brand relations, marketing through social media using moments rather than ads, and print production.
